Logistics is truly a team effort and here at Dynamic Connections, we have a team that works on the other side of the world to ensure every customer interaction is best in class.
Introducing our high-powered Virtual Assistant (VA) team!
Though the distance might be great, the impact is mighty! We genuinely consider all our VAs part of the Greenteam as they contribute across multiple groups and truly work very cross-functionally.
You might ask…how do we all work together remotely?
On each of our core teams Bravo, Delta, Echo and Zulu, Boomer (Cannabis) and Boomer Fresh (Produce)- we have dedicated VAs just for that team. These VAs are subject matter experts with the customer base and the sector/vertical where each of those teams operate. Our VAs assist with logistics tracking, tracing and coordinating. They also undertake quality assurance and a host of other tasks.
Our tracing coordinators are on the front lines, playing an essential role in supporting everyone at Dynamic Connections and more importantly, our customers. Their dedication and hard work are key to our success. Most of the VAs work in EST but might start a little earlier than their core team, so this allows us to get a jump on the day and ensure that customers have a point of contact early in the morning; this also allows us to triage any issues, so the teams are set up for success every day.
We also have VAs on our Finance Team where they deal with accounts payable, receivable and other backend finance operations. They connect and meet daily with our finance folks ensuring that we can scale operations and manage our diverse portfolio of accounts.
Currently, we have a mighty team of 19 VAs! Some of the team have been with us as long as 3 or 4 years, and others have joined us this year in our period of high growth. All of our VAs are located throughout the Philippines and others in Metro Manila. Given the VA Team’s distributed locations, we try to ensure they can team build amongst themselves, as well.
We often hire new VAs throughout the year, so we want to ensure they all have strong cohesion on their respective team as much as we have on ours. We support the VA Team in throwing their own holiday party on an annual basis. This year they planned an online gaming event and celebrated with a meal. Our VAs join all our daily and weekly meetings; they have really helped create our online culture with distributed team members across Canada and the US. They eagerly contribute to our engaging Teams chats with photos, emojis and GIFs which is a big part of our culture here at Dynamic Connections.
